What is a CPIT-approved Program Advisor?

A CPIT-approved Program Advisor is an independent professional or organization who has been vetted and recognized by the ACTP for their expertise in the CPIT (Corporate Planning Initiative for Tax). These advisors collaborate closely with ACTP-approved Financial Planners (CFPs, CPAs, CAs) to assess and develop tailored financial needs analyses for clients. CPIT-approved Program Advisors operate independently and are neither employees nor contractors of the ACTP, ensuring an unbiased approach while working within the program’s framework.

The ACTP is currently accepting applications and conducting interviews for individuals and organizations interested in becoming CPIT-approved Program Advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who wish to contribute to the promotion of the Corporate Planning Initiative for Tax.

Priority is currently given to applicants in rural communities.
